Permits, inspections and PG&E

Inside Auburn city limits, electrical permits come from the City of Auburn Building Division, which takes permit applications online. In unincorporated areas, such as North Auburn, it’s Placer County Building Services. Elsewhere it’s that city or county’s building department. We pull the permit, schedule the inspection and meet the inspector.

Commercial work often needs plans as well as a permit, and some projects, like schools, involve other agencies such as the Division of the State Architect (DSA). New services and service changes go to PG&E through Your Projects. We coordinate all of it.

From our Google reviews

We’re having Innovative replace some hard wired EXIT signs, install wiring for a couple that are not hard-wired, and add wiring for a couple new signs. Showed up on time, with a crew, all very professional, and they were in and out. Very nice man, have enjoyed working with him.
