Every town is a little different: who the electric utility is, which office issues the permit, how old the homes are, and how often the power goes out. Pick a town below for notes that apply there.

Across California
Outside these towns, we take on projects across California, including San Francisco and the Bay Area. Call us and tell us what you need; we’ll let you know honestly whether we’re the right fit and how scheduling would work.
Which utility do you have?
Most of our area is served by PG&E, but not all of it. Roseville has its own city-owned utility, Roseville Electric; most of Sacramento is on SMUD; and Folsom is split between SMUD and PG&E. Your electric bill shows which one you have. It matters because each utility has its own steps for meter pulls, service upgrades, and solar and battery interconnection, and we work through them for you.
These notes are general and meant to help you plan. Utility boundaries, permit offices and rules can change and can depend on the exact address, so we confirm them for your property before any work starts.
